Since moving to the Lake District in August I'm working, for now, on the shores of Lake Windermere.
Working on Jetties & Moorings, with the aptly named company of the same name, my camera comes down with me each and every day to capture the wildlife and those just enjoying the lake each day.
Moments like these, when the geese take off in unison, disturbed somehow by a distant sound, I'm often able to grab my camera to capture these wild creatures mid flight.
It's amazing what can start as a misty morning, can change in quite a short period: this lone kayaker finds himself enjoying the Lake, with only a flight of geese as his companions.
Working on jetties and capturing the lines and perspective is always a joy!
