Night time shots, by the river

We've had our first few nights in our new place, and we're amazed by the stars.

Having left Scotland a few days ago, for a new place in England, in the Lake District, we don't expect dark skies, dotted with stars.

We've found a beautiful spot just between Kendal and Windermere. Having the river literally on our doorstep has afforded me many unique photo opportunities.

We're pleasantly surprised, and think this view outside our front door, might become a new favourite.
