Adventure is sometimes a state of mind isn’t it?

And when you have your own business, it’s so easy to feel like you’re working all the time and the ‘real’ adventure out there feels elusive.

So finding moments to just enjoy early morning sunshine is a little gem to treasure - it’s a moment I wanted to share.

Isaline loves these walks in the carrier out of a pram and it always feels like a mini adventure when she’s cooing at the dog or seeing something for the first time.

Or instead of donning a wetsuit, pulling up by the road and getting straight in for a Baltic dip in Coniston (don’t be fooled by the blue sky 😂😇)

I’m savouring these precious moments. And while a full day on my bike or on the hill might not be so easy to find, stealing little pockets of adventure is possible and a thing I’m so grateful for!

We love these photos of Lauren wearing our Crescent Moon necklace... When our models arrive for a shoot, they (and we) are often feeling the effects of the week and it takes time to slow down. We stand and joke around together, we’re chatty (in a good way)... but as the shoot progresses, we pause. We slow. We get into the vibe of it all.

We loved it when Lauren ended up sitting among the leaves half way through the shoot. This is one of our favourite shots of her. Happy, content, peace-filled. Beautiful!

Earlier this summer, we stopped by the lighthouse at Lossiemouth, and took our girl to see where Mummy and Daddy got married.

It’s so special to reflect that five years ago today, we tied the knot here, in one of our favourite spots in the world.

Standing below the lighthouse, with the autumn wind in our hair, the ocean below and sand quite literally in our toes.

There is no-one else I’d rather do life, love, work, creativity, parenthood and adventure with. ❤️

We have always admired Rheged as a stalwart and champion of local producers and makers. They really ‘get’ local and what it is to be a creative or a maker.

Back when we started out on this jewellery journey, we said we wanted to be in Rheged… and now we are! We love their concept, their design and now… the people that work there too!
